Hi Everyone, I will be away from November 4th through November 9th. Please feel free to call George for an updated fishing report on Sunday @ 609-729-1425. He will be in the shop from 7am - 1 pm.
I am sending some information that I have received as of today. Have a great weekend.
Striped Bass have finally made an appearance in the Cape May Rips and the Delaware Bay. Both live Spot and live eels have been producing fish in the Rips, and chunking with bunker is the ticket in the Delaware Bay. Steve Dyl checked in with a 22 pound and a 17 pound Striped Bass caught in the Cape May Rips on live Spot while fishing on his boat "On the Roc's III" and reported a total of eight fish over 35 inches. George Scelso of Marlton, NJ had a 44 inch Bass caught on a live eel while fishing on his boat "Miss Christina". Joe Wells of Franklinville, NJ chunked bunker in the Delaware Bay and landed a 32 pound Striped Bass measuring 44 1/2 inches. Eight year old Brenden Mascherino of Downington caught his first ever keeper Bass which tipped the scales at 28 pounds. Brenden caught the fish on a live eel in the Cape May Rips.
