Drum fishing remains good near Tussey Slough and the Pintop areas. Patty Lamplugh caught her first ever Drumfish while fishing near Tussey Slough on her boat "Pattycakes 2" out of Wildwood. Captain George Clark weighed in an 82 pound Drumfish while fishing near Tussey Slough on his "Reel Work" out of Wildwood, NJ. The North Wildwood surf is still producing nice Striped Bass mainly on fresh Clam bait. The Cape May Reef remains good for Sea Bass and the Flounder are starting to show. Phil Tarasiewicz of Levittown, PA weighed in a 7.56 pound Flounder that inhaled a Mackerel/Minnow combo at the Cape May Reef while fishing on his boat "Misty Lane". Frank Gregorio of Medford, NJ reported a good catch of Flounder on his "Frankie Fish" while drifting at the Old Grounds. Offshore, shark fishing has started. Rocco Pace weighed in a 120 pound Mako caught on Mackerel while fishing near 19 Fathom Lump on his "Set the Pace". Back Bay Fluking remains good using Minnows, Gulp!, Mackerel and Squid strips. Schoolie Stripers are still patrolling the Back bays and can be caught using Clam bait.
