Stripers are still biting in the Cape May Rips while drifting eels or live Spot. The best Striper bite this past week has been while chunking fresh Bunker in the Delaware Bay. Butch Berglund of Sewell, NJ weighed in a 51 inch Striped Bass tipping the scales at 51 pounds!
Butch caught the fish while chunking Bunker on the Slick Willy out of Wildwood, NJ. Slick Willy crew member, Jim Renshaw of Gloucester, NJ weighed in a 33 pound Striper measuring 48 inches. Frank Scirotto of Cherry Hill, NJ and Bob McCormick of Pottstown, PA had their limit of Stripers while drifting eels in the Cape May Rips on Franks Stinky Fingers out of Wildwood, NJ.
