Fishing this week was hitting on all cylinders from the Delaware Bay to Jefferies Landing up the Egg Harbor River. While Stripers were still being hit in the Delaware Bay the reports of some of the 34" plus are rolling in. Out Front last Monday Mario on the "North Cote" had Mackerel at the Stone Beds and Stripers were being landed from Lakes Bay to Jefferies Landing.

The White Perch have slowed up while there have been catches of spike Weakies in Corsons Inlet and the Tog are being hooked at the Longport Bridge. The Weakies are hitting small Bucktail and Bloodworms while the Tog are feeding on Green crabs and the bait of choice for the Stripers is Clam.

Fritz Meugebauer had a 26" striper he caught on Mackerel at Anchorage Point and Dave Mitchell weighed in a 26.5" 6.54lb Striper he got on clam in Lakes Bay, later in the week on a return trip one of his party landed a small drum on clams and they had 3 keepers on there return trip up in Lakes Bay.

Get your Flounder gear ready it starts in a little over a week. We Surf Turkeys, Salted Clams, Green Crabs, Minnows and Squid and a whole lot more in this week.

Thanks,
Mike
