South jersey marina report! 5/26 5/27

The middle of this week was a weather blowout; but on Sunday 5/22, Top Shelf caught a load of Pollock, Ling and Cod over a wreck 30 miles off. The same day, Gallant Lady came in with 110 Sea Bass and 6 Tautog after fishing at a different wreck about the same distance offshore.

The latter part of the week produced Drumfish caught at Slaughter Beach in the evening. The following charter boats had the following catches:

5/26 All Geared Up 11

5/26 Hooked Up 6

5/27 Hooked Up 5

5/27 Gallant Lady 8

The boats really scored big with Sea Bass on Sat.

5/28:

Gallant Lady 165 fish

Slammer 100 fish

Flounder season has been open for about 3 weeks and most of the keepers are being caught in the back bay waters. Once the water temp. in the ocean starts climbing in early June, the ocean Flounder fishing will pick up.
