South Jersey Bass report

Striped bass are showing up in upper Delaware Bay around Maurice Rive Cove, #1 buoy, Egg Island Cove, and miah maul.
Clams seem to be best bait.
Fish are also showing up in surf at Cape May and Ocean City.
Some have been caught at the Ocean City pier by the Longport Bridge. Also back by the power plant in Beasleys Point, but thet are mostly shorts. A netter told me he was throwing back a lot of shorts in the Egg Harbor River while netting herring

hello, your report about the pier off longport bridge seems to be very accurate, we have had over a dozen legal stripers weighed in at our store, in just one week.
most of them caught on fresh clams, hopefully these signs indicate a good season, i will keep updating every week.
