It's good to be back! It was a long winter but it feels good to be back in the swing of things and back at Off The Hook. I hope everybody had a great winter and is doing good... it's been a while! The gang here is getting rolling... of course Chuck, Mary & Grady are here, and Mike, Wes and I are back, Matt will be back this weekend, and Sammy is trudging through the last of his scholastic responsibilities so he can come join the party as well. We've got a lot of the Hinch family back for another season, with a handful of new friends and faces to go along, so all in all, it's shaping up to be a good summer!
So the first fishing report of the season is coming from my baby brothers, who had a good tuesday afternoon. They were down near Cape May, and said they saw a good number of striper and drum being pulled out of the surf. Yay for clam bellies!
I've been waiting for the spring bite all winter long. Hoping to get out on that bay SOON, that's all I have to say about it. Come on drum!
