The Spring Trophy Rock fish season open Saturday with a vengence on the Chesapeake Bay .Those that were brave enough to venture out,due to the high winds were rewarded for their efforts.Strippers were hitting Tanden Sassy sads and the ever faithful umbrella rigs. Most captains used their planner boards to spread the rods out. Fish ranged from 28in. to 50in.Lots of the fleet caught their fish early and were back at the docks early. Fish were mostly in 70 to 90 feet of water . So crisscross back and forth across the channel,
