    Not worth the trouble if ya ask me

    SNOODS WORK NO DOUBT, but unless you're using eels or lips it's not worht the trouble. I use necks and just pop'm off at the end of each trip, MUCH EASIER

    I just run lines. It's just easier as I usually have the kids with me when I'm running the line. My neighbor is picking up 50lbs of necks for me this week and I'll start getting ready. My other neighbor dropped in a pot a few days ago. He did get a crab in it, but also had a dead muskrat in there From all of the reports that we are getting out of VA - looks like it is going to be a bumper year! I'll make sure to save some for the freezer this year as my wife about ruined my opening day Rockfish meal with some nasty Venezuelan crab meat
