Skunked On My Ski At The CBBT

I dropped my jet ski at Messick Boat Ramp in Poquoson Virginia around 0830 and headed out to the Chesapeake Bay Bridge Tunnel. It was a little sloppy with 3-4 footers to my port side but I was still able average 35 mph going out.
I fished around several piles and the rocks around the third and fourth Islands with no luck. I was using live fiddlers and clams, I even tried to tempt the Togs with a couple of oysters but it was not to be. I talked to several boats that either caught very few or none.
Later in the day it laid out nice and almost flat so I was able to cruise at 45 mph on my trip back to Poquoson. I traveled about 36 miles and burned 8.5 gallons.
Still had a great day and can't wait to get back out. Here are some pictures I took while out.

I can see it's dangerous for you, but if the government trusts me, maybe you could. Agitated88's Avatar
