Slid back to the bait and marks and tge eight bait spread went down... Over and over and over... The wake ran red with Flasie and skippie blood... We never found a bluefin or yellowfin but we sure had fun tryin... Final score was too many to count. A few skippes were set aside for the grill whie the squiggle backed ones have been packed away nice in the freezer for next years sharkin...Beats keepin the pilings company...

I was out there yesterday with Buddy on the Prime Coat. We had the same action. Caught tons of those too. Lots of Rays. Nice day anyway...

I heard only one short caught... a hand full of skippies and squiggle backs for the fleet. A rat mako and a stray ray was reported and a couple mystery bites that puled off...
Started rough and calmed through most of the mid day... At least it was non stop action... Good practice for a short crew working eight lines at a time with almost all of them going down every few minutes... Over and under and around I was happy to see the guys thinking and no tangles... |

hey deep..harry, myself and two friends decided to take a breather and make our way to the the SW side side of the ledge last night aboard the Cheapshot. Started the chunk and within in 1/2 hour had a rat mako as well show up in the slick. 10 minutes after that we had a run off and that was it....swing and a miss. had some good marks but no takers. oh well beautiful night, beautiful run in and a night out with friends......you should make your way over to the Dockside and have a drink one night..

I see you guys almost every day. Saw you go by while I was backing in. We keep a contender over there by you guys too but havn't been using that one much. So much to get ahead of or caught up on the 43...
I'll make an effort to slide over one day when I see you go by and say hello... I don't drink any more but that doesn't mean I can't be friendly and maybe drink a coke...

Deep we were out last Wed also, fishing was tough by the fleet. We fished off them about 1/2mile to 1 mile has a 26" released, might have been me who you heard with the short. Talk about insult to injury, tough day and we have to release a short... Seems the inshore bite fizzled out, water cooled off a little. Other spot is hot again this week though, lots of good reports from the few guys who can get out there. Chunking is the way to go right now. Too bad conditions look shakey for this week, don't feel like getting tossed around in my 26'.
