Sept 20 At the AP

Went to the AP, got there at dawn we started jigging and nailed our first bluefin within the first half hour.It was 42 inches. We had 2 more runnoffs on sardine and lost them then the bluefish were killing us.we moved out to the chicken and chunked and jigged for a couple of hours with nothing to show so we packed it in.We had a whale come up to the back of the boat and it was so close I could of touched it.My son was pretty excited to see that he is only 8 and it was his first time out there so that was cool.Great day on the water looking for next week.

Good job on the fish, from what it seemed it was pretty slow out there. I guess 100 or so boats will do that...

I was out there as well, nada, not even a bluefish.
