Sea Surface report Block to Hatteras 9-8

The sea surface temperature along the coast of Cape Cod, Vineyard Sound, and Block Island is currently 71-73°F. The sea surface temperature off of the coast of Long Island Sound to northern New Jersey is also 71-73°F, while the coast southern New Jersey to of North Carolina is currently 74-77°F. The Gulf Stream is currently carrying two currents of warm water up the coast of North Carolina to New Jersey. Off of the coast of New Jersey, the outskirts of the Gulf Stream reaches 74°W and 40.5°N carrying sea surface temperatures between 77-80.5°F. There is a warm water eddy located at 39.5°N and 70.5°W that is carrying sea surface temperatures between 77-80°F. The sea surface temperature in the Delaware Bay is currently 77°F while the sea surface temperature in the Chesapeake Bay is currently 83°F. There is a sea surface low off of the coast of Cape Cod that is currently 5 cm below sea level. The remaining coastline is flat except the sea surface highs located off of the coast of the Delaware Bay and the Chesapeake Bay which are both 30 cm above sea level.
