Block Island to Cape Hatteras
High cloud coverage decreased the quality of the imagery today. The sea surface temperature in Long Island Sound and along the coast of New Jersey is currently 73 to 78°F. The sea surface temperature along the coast of Delaware and North Carolina increases to 77 - 82°F. There is a sea surface low that wraps around the coast of Cape Cod bay to Block Island that is currently 15 cm below sea level. The rest of the north Atlantic coastline remains relatively flat until you reach the coast of North Carolina where there is a sea surface low that is 30 cm below sea level.
