Block Island to Cape Hatteras
The sea surface temperature off of the coast of Delaware and North Carolina has increased to 78-80°F. As you move east off coast the sea surface temperature gradually increases to first 76°F, then increases to 81°F, and then 85°F once you hit the Gulf Stream. There is a cold water eddy off of the northern Delaware that is carrying sea surface temperatures between 69-72°F. The Chesapeake Bay is reporting sea surface temperatures between 78 and 81.5°F.
