A few perch anglers were through today picking up Sabiki type rigs and grass shrimp. It's about the only land base fishing we have at this time of the year.
Some folks were taking about trying to walk out to Collins Cove to fish the banks, but word is there hasn't been a trail blazed though there from the end of the road to the meadows. It gets a lot of traffic if the Mullica River freezes over, but no one seems to walk it to just fish the banks. It could be worth the effort as I heard the boaters were doing pretty good just before Christmas.
