Bright sunshine feels warm, but get in the shade with the wind and it is chilly. Temperatures are still cold at night, cold enough to put a skim ice on our back lagoon. It's not helping warm the water up much.
There are some smaller stripers being caught up the river. They are mostly being caught by the white perch fishing anglers. Any catching activity is a great fishing day to anyone that has been locked up all Winter. Better days are coming as the weather evolves into spring time temperatures.
