The weatherman was right on with the forecast. Howling wind kept anglers tied up safely at the dock.
Clams are scarce and bunker are even more so. We did luck out on a batch of clam that was harvested yesterday and cut this morning. We loaded up with all they would sell us not expecting to see any more clams any time soon as howing winds are supposed to end Friday when the North Easter starts! We have the clams spread very thin in many coolers with lots and lots of fresh cut ice chips right out of our ten below walk in freezer. They will hold through Saturday. We will do our best to continue to beg the right folks to keep the clams in supply. I have no hope to see any fresh bunker.

Blowing is the word of the day. Even so, there were plenty of anglers fishing the froth of the Little Egg Inlet. There was some action out there too. Several boats had single fish on board with high hook of three bass. Some anglers fishing Grassy protected from the wind did not have any activity that I know of.
Expect EXTREEM blow out tides tomorrow as the wind is supposed to blow 25 to 40 North West; it's going to be a good day to go to work.
