Not many folks back in the water just yet, but many are making plans to have their boats ready to go by the weekend.
One angler found a few keeper seabass on the LE reef and a couple of short fluke.
I heard another angler attempted to find croakers, but ended up with spike weakfish instead.
Crabbing is as good as it can get! Did the rain push the crabs out of the Mullica and they are all here in the Mystic Island lagoons? Not sure why, but crabbing is HOT right now.
There is a lot of snapper catching action in the Mystic Island Lagoons. We even had a 3/4 pound white perch weighed in by Brianna Wallace too. That is a good eating fish caught right in the back yard! That was the only keeper size perch, but they had others to make it fun too.
Still no word on anyone catching any bait size spots. I will update as soon as I hear when the action turns on.
