Had buddy and his wife kathy out today to find kathy a large bass.
I decided to set up down by the lower 60 and all we caught were sharks. after the tide came to a stand still I made a move, got to where I wanted to be and we set the lines out, withtin 15 mins of the tide change Kathy had one on and was srceaming drag off the reel me and buddy look at each other and say this is gonna be a nice fish. After she fought the fish for about ten or so minutes we got her into the net took some photo's and let her swim another day.
The fish was caught on one of chucks special off the hook bunkers and a noggin was what she wanted. we were set up in 24 feet of water and the temp was 53.
oh the fish weighed in at 45lbs on the boga grips . Now last year vinny and I put kathy on her first big chunk striper of about 25lbs and this year she wacks a 45 pounder . awsome job kathy!!!!!! I do belive that buddy and kathy now are going to have a fish off next year after the tourn scene is done.
