Saturday Report
Got a call Friday on my way down from my brother. He informs me that someone had seen schools of BFT out around the light ship. So, with the weather report I decided to head out that way. When I got to the lightship there were 2 other boats within sight and both were shark fishing. So, we put our spread out and started trolling. I headed on a zig zag pattern towards where we had caught BFT in the past. Trolled for 2 hours and nothing. We did see huge bait balls that went from the bottom up to 20 feet. Also saw whale. If I had to guess it was 40feet + in length. After the 2 hours we pulled everything in and headed inshore to fish for Flounder. Caught 6 flounder with 4 keepers, some skates, a smooth dogfish, and a small red hake.
