Sandy Hook flatfish.. 6-27-10

had my boy LT out today along with Castaway Mike who got some time away from da wife and Kiddie to get in a morning of fluking.... fished outside and the first drift was killer with the first 4 fish over the rail and in da box at 4 to 6.6 lbs .... picked away till the tide changed then it was done... bite turned off to a crawl...

Finished the day off with 15 sweet flukes for the box a few sea bass, and a jumbo ling which inhaled a bucktail.....

Fat Sacks of fillet for everyone.....

moment of the day was Castaway Mike trying out his NEW ULTRA LIGHT LAMIGLAS ROD......

Mike good to have you out with us again as always.... and hopefully da momma can come next time with that new avet of hers, and maybe you can even drag that muscle man brother of yours along....

ALL on board missed my Bow Monkeys company today, and hope and pray his pooch is gonna be OK.....
