salmon striper converts!!!!1

hey guys ,back in march i donated a trip to my Trout Unlimited chapter. two guys bid on it having never fished in the salt water for stripers. they were salmon guys. i took them down to my stomping grounds in the chesapeake. we found breaking dink stripers from 800 in the morning and chased them around until 1600 . i think by a conservative #we had 150 stripers. if i heard oh my god once i heard it a hundred times. the stripers were popping up and staying up busting bay anchovies like crazy.the guys had a great day,saw something they had never seen ,and my TU chapter made some money. everyone came out a winner. capt john

what a great trip.thats the way to have your first striper trip.and for a good cause way to go.....Next saturday there is a beef/beer for the guys fighting in Iraq i am donating a custom rod. maybe i can relay a good story about that
