The fluke was something like 24.3 pounds “supposedly” caught on the Shrewsbury Rocks. There is some controversy now because this is the same woman who had set the record for weakfish last year. “Supposedly” a relative is a commercial dragger and the fish is pretty beat up. Many are now saying that the fish are caught by the dragger and given to her. No boat name has been given and no one else was fishing with her. Just repeating what I heard, not trying to come down on her or anything.
I saw the pic....thats one hefty flatty. I was alittle curious how the neck got so torn up.....If she did catch that beast on her own hats off to her.....heck of a feat.
Man that is one huge croaker! The fluke looks like it's head is just about torn off, hummmmm looks funny![]()
