Took Deep Pockets and his people out today for a chunk trip on the bay and once set up in the lower bay it didnt take long for the bite to start. By the time the fourth rod was in the water the first one got bit then a second and after the first fish was to the boat the third one went off! Ok we got a good bite going.....then there was a lull for a bit, the tide was cranking then we started to get doubles putting another six fish to 30 pounds in the boat.....Then it died it shut off with two hrs to go till the bottom of the tide...Why? Why did it shut down..oh I know the googen that slid up right next to me started to chunk and chum, god only knows what he was putting in the water but the bass stopped biting, that is until he pulled anchor and split. The second he split the bite came on for the rest of the incoming. we had doubles and triples for the rest of the incoming catching around 25 fish with the heaviest going 35 pounds. we had a at least six fish cut them selves off on other fish that were all ready hooked up so that sucked, but none the less the day was as good as it gets. I stayed out there longer then normal just because the weather was so nice and the bite was so good, not to mention the company we had on the boat was top notch and I was truly enjoying my day out there with everyone. I cant wait to do it again with John and his Family. John took all the pics so he will post them up here when he can.
Aside from that Just a heads up I have this thursday open and weds the 11th and sunday the 8th for charter. The bite is on fire so if any of these dates sound good hit me up at 609 846 5874
