Thumbs up Risky Business Sportfishing Report 10/20 Wahoo Marlin Tuna Mahi Mahi w/pix

Today we had Pinky and his gang out for Trolling the offshore waters in high hopes of some yellow-fin tuna on the breaks out there, but the Yellow-fin was a no show except one 25lber. We fished the 40 50 fathom line between the Baltimore and Wilmington canyons. I didnt hear much down by the Baltimore so I worked north and had my best water in 71 t0 72 degree water and the best action as well. The play maker of the day was a screaming 50 wide taking a 100 yards or so of line in a blink of an eye, Ten minutes later a huge 70 pound Wahoo hits the deck!
That was a pig of a fish and the biggest Wahoo I ever saw. After a bunch of high fives we got lines back out and throughout the day got coverd up with Mahi Mahi and a yellowfin that came with the Wahoo. The other highlight of the day was a nice White that bit the long rigger but didnt come tight so hook jr dropped back to him and let him eat then bowed up and fish on. This white gave a great show jumping every chance he could and everyone on the boat was cheering and laughing and having a good ol time watching the fish. At this time I forget the anglers name but I told everyone on the boat whoever catches a white and its your first one you have to jump in the water back at the dock for karma and well, he did and loved the whole experience. At the end of the day we got covered up by a few more whites that shook the hook and two Wahoo bite offs all at the same time. After hook got the lines back in I circled around but didnt get anymore bites and at this point it was 6:00 pm and time to go in.

This was such a nice trip with plenty of action great people and super weather, I will remember this trip for a long time and I am sure pinky and his people will as well.

as you can see there is zero blood coming from this fish and there is a good reason why, we used a J hook but the fish was never hooked, hook was so good he lassoed the fishes lower jaw on the drop back.
