Riptide Bait and Tackle, Brigantine 10-9

Hopefully the reports will start to be daily and maybe even several times a day!!! Arlene Perkowski of Brigantine caught a short 20 incher and then nailed a 34.5" 14 pound striper. They were both caught on strips of spot off the front beach of Brigantine. The fish was just a little short to be entered into the Riptide Striper Derby (must be 36") but still it was a keeper off the surf!! Arlene fishes for the Womens Surf Fishing Club and was very excited about the productive day. As I am writing the report I just had another customer stop in for ice to put on his 34" striper.....They are here and hopefully this is the start of a long and beautiful season. I have been having so much trouble with my computer that I had to break down and get a new one. I am writing this report from a different computer and will post the pictures as soon as I can. Also Phil Fors of Rolling Tackle Box will be donating a Breakaway HDX rod for the biggest fish caught the week prior to Halloween . You must be entered into the Riptide Striper Derby and the heaviest fish caught that week will win the rod ( valued at 280.00 along with the 25.00 cash). Just want to thank Rolling Tackle Box for making the donation. I will try to keep posting as the fish start to come in,and we will have FRESH clams in for this weekend.
Thanks and Good Luck Capt Andy
P.S. Just received an update that the 2nd 34 inch striper was the same as the first one.....Sorry about that, my mistake, so the beach is NOT on fire but it is starting to smolder
Lets see what the night brings us???

Rob Switzer caught a 14.5 pound striper off the Brigantine surf this morning. He caught it on a cut spot. We will have fresh shucked clams and most other baits starting tomorrow. The Rolling Tackle Box HDX 13' foot surf rod give-a-way will be the week of November 1st to November 7th. The lasrgest striper caught that week will win the rod along with the 25.00 cash. Now please remember that you must be entered into the Riptide Striper Derby to qualify for this tournament.
Thanks
Capt Andy
