Angelo Palisano and his crew were back out with me for round two. Water temp was holding at 51. We got started at Prissy Wick shoal and right away we got a few shorts on buck tails. Good sign. So we worked the area for a while but boated a few more shorts. We moved to Middle Shoal looking for bigger fish and did nothing. So we moved to Overfall and on the first pass Pete got his chance and boated a 29 inch Bass which went into the box. OK! We worked the area hard and boated 8 more shorts on buck tails and eels. Right as the tide slowed down John got his chance on an eel and boated a 33 inch Striper. I stayed in the area for the turn of the tide but when the current got going we were only able to boat one more short.
The action was good. We released 18 short Stripers and got 2 for the box. I would have liked to put a few more in the box but we had a blast with the action.
