Fishing is slow!
Sunday, 05 December 2010 09:04

Hi Folks,

Things are still a bit slow and I don’t think the weather is the only

problem. It surely seems we just don’t have the number of good-sized

fish that we should by this time of year. The mouth of Delaware Bay is

giving up a few real nice fish, as is the Indian River Inlet and just a bit

off the beaches. Live spot, black salties, live eels, bucktails, and trolling

stretches has all produced fish. Most fish are falling short of the 28 inch

limit and the numbers are down.I hope the fish have not passed us by.

Capt. Chuck Cook of “First Light Charters” scored some stripers

to 20 pounds while drifting eels at a targeted depth between the 8’s. Bob

Cleveland on “Deputy Dog” boated short stripers and some real nice blues

while trolling the coastline from the inlet south to Fenwick. Massey’s Ditch

has not provided much activity lately. Hopefully better fishing is in Santa’s

bag of goodies!

‘Til next week, Have Fun and Be Safe!!!!!!!!!
