Find out who the guy in the Pro Line boat is and do whatever he is doing! Is was amusing on the to hear about the Pro Line boat guy being hooked up all day! It was a much better catching day down in the Little Egg Inlet. Big bass weigh in of the day goes to John Bucci and Fred Braue with a limit catch and big bass of 33.4 pounds 44".
Trolling and jigging anglers are still having a tough time making it work. Bait in the inlets and back bays is still the best bet.
Bait supply is slim. Depending on the timing of clam delivery tomorrow, we are likely going to be out. We never did see or hear from the bunker or eel guy today, so no other status then we are out on eels and fresh bunker for now. Sea Ya

Saturday

Not everyone had a good catching day, but anyone on the water had a good fall fishing day. We did weigh in a lot and heard about a lot of stripers out of the Little Egg Inlet again today. Best activity was on the falling tide with a long quiet period of inactivity during the mid afternoon and then I would have to say there was a later bite because the weigh ins started to trickle in again. Plenty of nice fish, no monsters today.
Nice to see a confirmation of fish at Graveling Point. I heard similar report from anglers on Pebble Beach. Best action has been on the falling tides just after sundown.
Our bunker guy just could not catch enough fish to meet supply. We still have hopes of seeing some fresh bunker on Sunday morning. I was able to load up on clams again this afternoon and we are well into them. Clam supply should be good right on thorough until Mondays deliveries.
