    report from sandy hook

well guys just got done fishing tournament #2 in the asa division two and what a great 2 days.

    Day 1
the forecast called for a misserable day (boy were they wrong?) it turned out to be gorgous. we had a awsome day of fishing probably boating 30 to 40 bass all around 20 lbs with the biggest at 22lbs all fish were caught on fresh bait. with day one coming to a end we had are work cut out for us. the leader board was a 34+in first a 33.9lb in second (my good friend dave on insufficent funds) and then a 33+in third so a 22 lbder was not going to help me much.

    day 2
Buddy and i got to the boat and decided we were just going to go have fun and see what came from it.
well day 2 started out like day 1 left off all the fish you could catch between 20 and 22 lbs and then it all broke loose for about 30 minutes we had some really good fish come thru we ended the day with the biggest being a tad over 31lbs which made us very happy we did not place in the money but we still did what we said went and had a good time and had fun.

this was another great event for the asa
congrats to everyone who fished and even more for those who were able to get a good fish in the boat and win some prize money.

Sounds like you had a good 2 days. Where did you fish?

I called off a trip saturday due to the weather report . Yesterday, fished the knoll and romers and picked a few, then moved outside and picked up about 8. 37 inches the largest. Not a bad day, but I thougt we would have done better.
