area of 42 went cobia on Sat. bite was real slow kids couldn't even ge a croaker. finally after 4hrs we got a couple of sharks, then the biggest cow ray I have ever seen that thging was huge, another small ray, then a screamer thought this was it then it just quit, though the bait got stole so after bout 10 min of nothing pulled up to ck bait, well here comes mr shark following it in, my daughter yelled cobia, little man about knocked me out of the boat, i told em no it was a shark well with the bait still in the water the shark took a run at it I moved it quickly, then something real black looking appeared hmmm yup cobia, about 45+ well he did the usuall thing and stared the bait the down I tried a few tricks to get him to take it and when he had his mouth open getting ready to inhale (seriously) here comes that dam shark whizzed right in front of him took the filet and gone

well there is one less shark in the bay

so no cobia
going out again this weekend to a different place so we will see
