PROWLER5 -VERY GOOD LING FISHING, TUES., JAN. 31st, CAPT. SCOTT

Hey gang. Very good ling fishing today with some keeper togs and a few cod. Water temperature still warm. We're fishing in 95 feet, not too far from our dock in Atlantic Highlands. Bit of a roll out here today, but we still caught the fish. Capt. Howie caught a double header keeper tog on the same rig. Mark was filleting for 3-1/2 hours - he said he filleted well over 600 ling on today's trip. Should be even better tomorrow, looks like a nice flat ocean and a nice warm day for tomorrow. All in all very good fishing for Feb. 1st just around the corner. Green crabs, white leggers and clams for bait, heated handrails. See you in the A.M. Thanks, Capt. Scott.
