Pasadena Sportfishing Group annual fishing flea market and trade show

The Pasadena Sportfishing Group will hold what every fishing fan calls paradise — its annual fishing flea market and trade show from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Feb. 19 to 20 at the Earleigh Heights Volunteer Fire Company hall, 161 Ritchie Highway.

The two day event will offer over 150 vendors both inside and outside. The vendors will have new and used fishing tackle, boats, crabbing supplies, custom made lures and rods, fly fish, spinning and conventional tackle, professional knife sharpening, embroidery work done on site and much more. Fisherman can even get their Maryland fishing licenses from the Department of Natural Resources.

Oysters on the half shell, pit beef and cold beer will be sold at the event.

Admission is $3 per day for the event.

• The group will hold its regular monthly meeting at 7:30 p.m. on Monday

at the fire hall. The doors will open at 6 p.m. The guest speaker will be outdoors writer Tim Sherman who will talk about striper observation.

After the presentation there will door prizes and raffles. Food will be sold.

The meetings and membership are free and open to the public.
