Very Good Ling Fishing this past Weekend!

Fishing on Friday and Saturday was very good this past weekend
(we did not sail on Sunday)

Friday we had many anglers on the boat with 30 to 40 fish each and some had even more. Some Cod were caught but the majority of the catch was Ling. Saturday we averaged 15 to 30 per man around the boat, again mostly Ling with some Cod.

Both the weather and the fishing has been excellent this past week and hopefully both will continue to cooperate!

Some catches of note from Friday were:
Dennis Stock from Faifield, NJ had 45 Ling, Middletown Mike had 34 Ling, Jerry Collins from Matawan, NJ had 28 Ling, Bill Doscher from Waretown, NJ had 25 Ling, Jack Decker from North Haledon, NJ had 40 Ling, Mike Barbelace from Pottstown, PA had 38 Ling and 1 Cod, Pat Pyne from Linfield, PA won the pool with a keeper Cod and Noel Westerlind from Leonardo, NJ was high hook with a whopping 60 Ling!

Saturday’s catches of note were:
Phil Degliomini & sons from Huntingdon Valley, PA combined for 50 Ling, Paul Gannon & Bob Baines from Fairlawn, NJ combined for 61 Ling, Mike Zita from Princeton, NJ had 28 Ling and Robert Fairhurst from Port Monmouth had 30 Ling and the pool winning 10lb. Cod!

Paramount Sailing Schedule:

10 ½ Hour Marathons
6:30am till 5:00pm every Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday & Sunday

12 Hour Marathons
5:00am till 5:00pm ever Tuesday & Thursday

All trips are targeting Ling and Cod fishing the deep drops, Mudhole and other areas, wherever the fish are biting!
