100ft. Paramount Fishing Report

The past few days produced some good and some slow days of fishing. Tuesday's Deep Water Ling and Cod Special produced decent catches of 15 to 20 Ling per man on average with high hooks a little higher than that. Samuel Johnson from Philadelphia won the pool with a7 pound Cod and had 20 Ling, Dave Sinker from Howell, NJ had 21 Ling and 2 keeper Cod. Harmond Fuller from Elizabeth had 18 Ling and 2 keeper Cod and Greg Miller from Philadelphia had 20 Ling and 1 keeper Cod.

Wednesday's Ling trip ran into some very strong current that made fishing more difficult around the boat. Some areas of the boat did better than others and while several anglers landed 20 or so fish most anglers had less. The fish were there to be caught but the conditions made it difficult for most. Charlie Wilson from Chester, PA won the pool with a 5 pound Cod, Charlie McKinnon and friend had 23 Ling, Noel Westerlind had 23 Ling and Mike Sibilia had 16 Ling and a Lobster! Most anglers had from 5 to 12 fish.

Sea Bass fishing went up and down the past few days with one day seeing anglers with 8 to 12 keepers on average to the next day with 4 to 6 keepers. Some catches of note from the past couple trips were Hugh Howard from Philadelphia with a nice 5pound pool winning Sea Bass and around 15 keepers total, Dave Sinker had 11 Sea Bass and Allan Hanson from Parlin, NJ had 13 Sea Bass and 2 Porgies.

The Paramount is sailing every Thursday, Saturday and Sunday for Sea Bass & Porgies from 6:30am to 3:30pm

Our Monday & Friday Marathons are also targeting Sea Bass and Porgies. Trips sail every Monday & Friday from 6:30am to 5:00 pm. Our Marathons offer a longer day, enabling the captain to hit more or further spots, whatever is needed.

Our Tuesday & Wednesday Deep Water Ling Specials sail every Tuesday & Wednesday from 6:30am till 3:30 pm targeting Ling and Cod on the deep water drops and in the Mudhole.
