Sea Bass - Ling

AWednesday's Deep Water Ling Special produced some excellent catches of Ling along with some Cod. Erik Weber from COlts Neck, NJ won the pool with an 8lb. Cod and had a great catch of 46 Ling as well. William Thompson from Edison, NJ had 37 Ling, Peter Samson, Moorestown, NJ had 4 keeper Sea Bass and 39 Ling, Bob Zupko from Brielle, NJ had 44 Ling, Junchiro Takigayama from Medford, NJ had 52 Ling. All in all an excellent day of Ling fishing and a perfect 4th of July!

Thursday's inshore Sea Bass trip ended up being a mix of both Sea Bass and Ling. Bryant Burnett from Philadelphia won the pool with a 4lb. Ling and had a total of 10 Ling and 5 keeper Sea Bass. Kelly Murphy from Little Egg Harbor had 7 Ling and 5 Sea Bass and Alan Restore from Chatham, NJ had 6 Sea Bass and 5 Ling.
We will continue to fish for Ling and Cod every Tuesday and Wednesday and concentrate on Sea Bass the other 5 days of the week.

Our 6:30 to 3:30 inshore wreck trips fish the reefs, rocks and inshore wrecks targeting primarily Sea Bass. In addition to Sea Bass, we will often see some Ling and the occasional Fluke on our inshore wreck trips as well.
