Paramount Fishing report, Brielle 11-14
100ft. Paramount Fishing Report
Updated 11/14/10
Capt. Francis Bogan
Sea Bass • Ling • Cod • WIND!
After a number of days of just too much wind we have seen the swell slowly start to subside and the fish begin to bite again. We have been catching a mix of Sea Bass and some Blackfish on our daily inshore trips and a few Porgies have still made their presence known and there have been a number of Cod caught along with the Ling as well.
Some catches of note from the past couple days were:
Willy Singleton from New Castle, DE won the pool on Saturday with a small Cod and Al Harris from Philadelphia won the pool on Sunday with a 15+ pound Cod. Al also had 16 Ling. Bobby Green, Jeff Wilber and John Gavin from Sloatsburg, NY combined for 3 keeper Cod, 6 Sea Bass, 35 Ling and 2 keeper Blackfish, Johnny Young had 2 Cod and 15 Ling and Gary Powell from Hackensack, NJ had 20 Ling and 1 Cod.
To take advantage of the good Sea Bass fishing we will be sailing 6 days a week for Sea Bass as long as they stay in our area!
Our Deep Water Ling Special will still sail every Wednesday from 6:30am till 3:30 pm targeting Ling and Cod on the deep water drops and in the Mudhole.
Our Monday and Friday Marathons sail every Monday & Friday from 6:30am to 5:00 pm. Our Marathons offer a longer day, enabling the captain to hit more or further spots, whatever is needed and will be focusing primarily on Sea Bass along with the occasional Blackfish and Ling.
Our Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday trips will sail from 6:30am till 3:30pm and will be focusing primarily on Sea Bass along with the occasional Blackfish and Ling.
