Fishing Report by Sue Foster

Water Temperature (WTMP): 45.0 °F

A cold front has hit and very little fishing is going on. There's a few
stripers around offshore. And hopefully, some tautog offshore! Capt Monty
plans to try on 1/5.

The only surf report I heard was Mike Hastings had 2 fish right before the
front came through, a 25 in and a 29 in....... on Assateague.

Many anglers ask about reading the beach when surf fishing. "Poppy" a very
good angler has posted another very good description with pictures on
Stripers Online. Check it out:
Reading the Beach He draws it out completely! If you're not catching
fish in the surf, you need to study this!

Nick of the Get Sum is still
doing charters for stripers.
