Overnight canyon reduced price-shorter jigging-chunking with no trolling HU II

NEW for the 2009 18 & 20 hr. Reduced Price Shorter Canyon Overnight Chunk, Jig & Popping Trips Sept 13th-Oct 31 with No Trolling

Depart Cape May, NJ approximately 4-5 pm and return 10-11 am the next morning.

There will be no trolling on these shorter discounted trips. We will fish for swords at night along with jigging or chunking tuna.

We can offer these shorter canyon overnight trips due to the speed of the 55 HOOKED UP II that can easily reach any canyon within 80 miles of Cape May,NJ in 2-3 hours running time in decent sea conditions. Our customers get more actual CANYON FISHING TIME over many charter boats that just cannot cruise anywhere near as fast as the HOOKED UP II. If you like shorter boat rides to the canyons we offer one of the fastest and newest deluxe charter boats anywhere on the East Coast.

PRICING please read carefully: Jigging, popping and chunking $3200.00 for 18 hours & out to 75 miles. $3400.00 for 20 hours and out to 75 miles. Add $200.00 if we have to run more than 75 miles to reach a canyon that has a better night bite than our local canyons. This will be discussed with all charter customers prior to leaving the dock and they decide if they want to pay the extra money to run to a canyon that may offer better night fishing.

We have 6 complete dedicated jigging-popping rods and reels that are some of the finest tackle money can buy on board the HOOKED UP II.You will absolutely not find any charter boat with better quality jigging tackle anywhere on the East Coast.

We carry from 800-1000 lbs of chipped ice on every canyon trip so your catch stays as fresh as possible. Not many charter boats we know carry anywhere near this much ice on their normal canyon trips.

We also have some of the very best quality safety gear that includes 3 ERIB’s plus an 8 man commercial grade life raft that is approved for the open seas which is far beyond what is required by the US Coast Guard. We also have 3 VHF radios and carry a survial ditch bag that contains all the basics needed to maintain while awaiting rescue. This includes numerous commerical grade flares that are beyond what is required for charter boats. If safety and comfort is important then we offer one of the finest charter boats that you will ever fish on.

We have two brand new Caterpillar Diesel engines installed in June of 2009 for your offshore safety. It costs more to run a offshore trip in fuel with twin diesels but the added speed and safety is well worth the extra price as we will not have to wait 6-8 hours for Sea Tow in come out and get us if one engine fails and this does happen. It is a comforting thought to have two diesel engines when 70-90 miles Offshore.

Please Read: We realize that there are many boats to chose from when picking a canyon overnight trip. Our policy has always been to advise our customers if we feel the possibility of putting a good Yellowfin-Longfin catch together is nonexistant and will cancel the trip and refund all deposits if rescheduling is not possible. We cancelled 18 overnight canyon trips last fall due to lack of tuna and for the first time in 20 years never ran one overnight trip. We will continue this policy if the Yellowfins do not show up this season at night. We give our charter customers the option to do the trip and fish for other species if they so desire but we always advise them before hand on the realistic chances of catching tuna prior to departure. It's just the way we chose to do business.

Our reels include Shimano Stella STL 20000 SW which most feel is the finest spinning reel in the world today. We also have the Shimano mid-range spinners Saragosa 18000 Fplus the newest jigging reels from Accurate (Boss Extreme BX2-600 Twin Drag Two Speed Reels) which very well also may be the best dedicated conventional jigging reels money can buy also. Along with are world class rods and reels we have on board over 50 various sizes, styles and type of jigs and poppers including many Glow in the Dark ones that were so effective in the 2007 season on canyon Yellowfins at night up to 100 lbs plus on some trips.
