Ortley beach surf report...

hit the beach again last night for the last 2 hours of the outgoing tide...

made first cast and nothing until about 30 minutes later the rod bent and i landed my first bass off the beach of this fall season.. 25inch bass was released back into the water to bulk up for next year..

then i sat around for another 2 hours and only caught one sand shark and one skate for the rest of the night.. partially had to do with the low tide.. didnt want to sit around for the tide to turn but i bet it would have been good around 3-4am when the tide has a chance to really turn around..

will be back out tonight to find some more holes!!
