Decided not to fish in the morning due to the known fact that it would have been absolutely crazy. Picked my buddy up at 1:30 from Sandy Point and had lines in just north of the Bay Bridge by 1:45. Trolled north on the dumping grounds towards Love Point Buoy. Had a knock down on 6 arm white umbrella with 10 oz. chute, unfortunately came unglued. Felt like a really really nice fish. 1/2 mi south of the LP Buoy swung back south and about 2 miles after turning got hit on the WWB 2 oz. white chute/white w/ red Atom lure tandem. 35" in the box. (fish hit the Atom, this lure has been hot for me the last 3 spring seasons accounting for about 75% of my fish. Caught my biggest striper to date at 44" off this lure 2 seasons ago.) Tide swung around and it was wind against tide and got a little choppy especially with all the boat traffic of people heading in. Marked a bunch more fish but didn't get any more hits.

(snagged two baitfish too). No real slobs. Largest was only about 40", smallest was about 33". We released fish with roe in the bellies. We were in the TPL/BPL area and slightly away from the crowds.
