Check with us as we may need a few singles or small parties on either Sunday or Monday. These are custom trips based on the tides that are producing the best bite and could potentionally be late at night if that is the best time to catch but we can discuss this in more detail along with price with any anglers that are interested. Right now all you need to put a great catch together is the right tide and the way the drum bite was yesterday you could catch 10 or more in less than a few hours and but we will see how this plays out later this weekend. These are big drum with some pushing 80 lbs so you will have sore arms and backs catching these size drum.

The best drum bite by far is on the incomign hard running tide and it has been that way all week now. Not very many drum caught on the outgoing as of today so we are planning on doing the open boat trips based on the tides that produced the grea catches the last two days.

The hardest running tides on Sunday is from around 5:00 pm until around 11:00 pm and the bite should go off really good once the tide starts running hard around 7:00 pm or so. This is how it is and has been on all our recent trip and should continue to be this way. We did catch a few at the end of the outgoing yesterday around 3:00 pm but the red hot bite started when the tide switched to the income and started running very hard a few hours later.

We have caught and released a bunch of drum the last two trips and on yesterday afternoon trips many were over 60 lbs with some up to around 80 lbs. Now is the time to with the full moon tides
