One Nice Flounder

We had a real slow day going, water clarity was poor and my four year old was pretty bored with the slow action. We decided to try one more spot on Hampton Bar where we had picked up a few keepers over the last couple of trips. My 8 year old Drew gets a 5 inch Spot on his bait catchin rod and sends it back down on his live bait stick. Five minutes later he thinks something is messing with it, so he lets out some line and declares that he is snagged on the bottom. 10 seconds later the bottom starts to swim away, after about 5 mins that seemed like forever, we slide the net under the 7lbs 7oz, 26inch fatty. Smiles all around and good eating later.
