A big thanks to our judges and tournament sponsors for making this one of the best events we have ever had. The event was sponsored by Star Rods, Sea Striker and Hi-Seas Fishing Line.

Tentative Dates for a 2012 surf fishing tournaments are May 12 and September 22-23.

Plenty of flounder reported from the Indian River Inlet. There are a load of shorts but keepers can be found. Gulp baits, minnows, squid a and shiners have been most effective.

Striper fishing in the Inlet is SLOW. Typical for this time of the year. Too much natural bait to compete with. Don't worry the water will cool off and the bait will head south soon.
