There are some triggerfish, black drum and sheephead in the mix too.
The cold weather turned on a run of big flounder in the Inlet. Scott Black brought kin a 35" flattie weighing 9 lbs 7 oz. It hit a Gulp bait on a lead head. Had several other reports of 20-25" fish as well.
Striper fishing in the Inlet is SLOW. Typical for this time of the year. Too much natural bait to compete with. Don't worry the water will cool off and the bait will head south soon.
Creations of small blues on the beach. Fresh finger mullet, spot and bunker are all working.
