OCMD Report 7/9-7/11 YTF!!!!!!

Fished the tournament this weekend tryed to get offshore friday but could not so we bluefined and got a 67lb.

Sat.= lay day

Sun... Could not keep the whites out of the baits!!! We saw 7 whites in the spread we would hook up and i would put 30lbs of drag on them so they would not take up tuna time. Could not shake the first one so brought him to the boat. Got covered up around 9am getting 3 out of 3 YFT. Then again at 10 also getting 3 out of 3 YFT. Then a single bite at 11 fought him for 1 hr and 10 mins. it was a 63lb yellow fin. Trolled for the next 3 hrs with a few more white bites lines out at 3.
No money but 270lb isnt a bad stringer.

Total 7 yellow fins and 1 white.

We are on D dock at sunset and we are called the ''crab boat'' its a 46 carman finshed by composite yatchs.

good job on your tournament Austin. 7 whites. Geeeez. by the time we had two my guys were ready to pull the tuna spread and through the dredges.
