OCMD Ocean stripers starting to show up

Me and Noah were testing out my new Sea Cat 21 and managed to find a couple right strait out front the inlet a couple miles out under some gannets . Caught them on the top with the small stuff jig heads with shiner like tails . They both had sand eels in them . Tried trolling the bigger baits with out any takers . No bunker here yet ... All and all it was a good start to the season we even had some crabs around to provide some stuffing ...

The crabs are a nice touch....I hope to have the same meal the day after thanksgiving.

Caught the last flounder of the year at Isle of Wight shoal jigging a 3oz bucktail .A 22 in .No striper bites but plenty of spiny dog fish sharks .Flounder had sand eels just like last week stripers .

Fished yesterday with Noah . Could not find them inside had to go outside . caught 10 striper bites up to 43 in and about 2 dozen bluefish bites . all released . bottom was covered with horndogs and sand eels again...
