OCMD FLOUNDER....Too bad its closed

Had a blast fishing sat/sun. I have never seen better flounder fishing in OC. Fished from 330-430 and had 12 fish with the smallest going 21" and the largest 29" all released. Sunday I fised the am and the pm and had another 25 fish with the largest going 26 and the smallest 18, but most fish were 20-22" and they were snapping good....all on bucktails and all very close to the slack tide. I never thought it would hurt so bad releasing fish, but it was a bummer. Hope everyone enjoys this C&R while they're still there

HEY GOOCH, YOU SHOULD TRAILER YOUR BOAT ON UP TO INDIAN RIVER AND FISH THERE.......FLOUNDER FISHING IS STILL GOOD UP HERE AND YOU CAN KEEP THEM........OUR SEASON IS STILL OPEN. JUST THOUGHT THAT I WOULD LET YOU KNOW.

I'm fishing out of NJ this weekend...but I wouldn't be surprised to find bass/blues schooled up at the shoals.

The last two weeks in a row we've had our tog limit in short order. Shame it's only two fish until November when the limit goes up to 4, then closes in December. In DE you can keep 10 per person. Ridiculous if you ask me.
