Not too many people were fishing today, the high temps kept a lot of folks indoors. Only thing I heard from the surf yesterday is that the water WAS COLD, 61 degrees! The crabbing has been getting better and better! All week families have been renting crab traps and bay rods for a fun day on the bay!

Nic Knack is Hot!

This weekend BHMTC had their in-club offshore tourney., Nic Knack took first place! AND was seen at the club last night weighing in a pair of Big eyes! 140 and 150 pounds! Phil and Nicole are having a great season! Thats the boat to watch in White Marlin Invitational for sure! Congrats to them and Captain Andy of course!

Canyon Reports

The Chicken Canyon is still hot! Tom Kowal had an oppertunity to get offshore with his Father and crew member Joe Mana. They ran north to the Chicken. First Bluefin tuna was about 40#s caught trolling an ilander blue and white with a large bally. Then had the keeper at about 50#s while chunking sardines. Nice work boys! and thanks for the tuna Tommy!

july 15 001Walter Petka from Philadelphia fished the LE reef with his buddy and landed this 4-1 pound Sea Bass....They had a few shorts and a couple keeper fluke on the sides of the reef.

He caught the Sea Bass on a Gulp 6 inch grub tail, pink shine. with a 6oz. spro bucktail.
